Brief description
Convict Cup made from Sydney clay with a sand dune profile. This unglazed pottery is a rare example of very early Colonial pottery made before there were available glazes in Australia. This was found in an archaeological investigation in a convict hut under floor area context with a glass and a Ming bowl.
