Brief description
King post from the second courthouse in Parramatta. This section fitted in the apex and was a part of the support for the roofline at the east facing edifice on Church Street. This was the Government Architect, Mortimer Lewis' design. The foundation stone was laid August 9, 1837 by Police Magistrate P L Campbell.
