Brief description
The Wellington Jug is a convict made jug, most likely made by John Morton or Jonathon Leak. The jug mould is of a Wedgewood type but with the unique application of 3 medallions - Marquis of Wellesley, Duke of Wellington and Brittania. The base has the hand written inscription 'New South Wales'.
