Register used to record incoming correspondence received by Parramatta Municipal Council including January 1862-7 May 1863. There is also some incoming correspondence copied by a clerk into the book. The majority of the book contains a record of the names of those employed as Day Labour by council and includes the dates 8 June 1872-31 October 1873. Types of jobs include lamplighter, cleaning of streets, curbing of streets.
