Brief description

This Series comprises letter bundles created by Parramatta Municipal Council, with consecutive numbers assigned to them. Correspondence received is numbered with Council reply attached. Some letters are attached to later letters dealing with the same subject. There appear to be two separate sequences of letter; one being general correspondence and arranged by letter number and the other being subject bundles. These consist of part of the main correspondence series which have been removed from the numerical order sequence and instead arranged by subject, forming part of the main correspondence series but have been separated out as they relate to specific subjects or are unable to be allocated. PRS30/79 contains correspondence re the Royal Visit and triennial election. The records are original and have not digitised.
