Brief description

This Series comprises Sports Ground Management Plans Under the Local Government Act, 1993, all sports grounds are required to have a plan of management. The Council's Corporate Plan established a need for a Community Services Plan which comprised four elements: Social Plan, Recreation Plan, Library Strategic Plan and Heritage Development Strategy. The Recreation Plan consists of four elements again: Bushland and Watercourse Reserves; Foreshore Parks; Sportsgrounds and General Parks and Land for General Community Use. This management plan aims to assess community and recreation needs and assist in planning to provide facilities or to maintain existing facilities at sportsgrounds in the LGA.
