The Parramatta Fair

Brief description

The Parramatta Fair is a circular shaped painting in two pieces. The central piece has an historical scene of the Parramatta Fair. The surrounding piece has four scenes of Parramatta. It was painted by Australian outback painter, Pro Hart, commissioned by City of Parramatta Council for the Parramatta Bicentennial. It was acquired as the original of the Parramatta bicentennial souvenir plates. The event commemorated 200 years since European arrival between 1788 & 1988.
