Brief description
Colonial engraving of Parramatta, looking north along Marsden Street, from the corner of Campbell Street, Saint Johns is immediately behind the train overpass and to the left of Saint Johns, is the Uniting Church facing onto Macquarie Street. In the distance is Saint Patrick’s.

The view is from the Picturesque Atlas of Australasia published in 1886-1888.

Fullwood was an English artist who co-foundered the Australian Painter-Etchers’ Society and became a member of the Australian Water-Colour Institute.
