Brief description
Historical survey of mainly Australian flags from First Union Flag (1770-1801) to Australian Bicentennial Flag (1988). Includes Commonwealth, state, colonial, other defence forces and Queen's personal flag for Australia. Thirty-six flags included in horizontal and vertical columns with short descriptions at foot of each flag. The 'Australian national flag, final design from 1908' is centered toward the bottom and twice the size of the other flags. "Australia Day - 26th January 1988. This heritage collection of posters is proudly produced by Woolworths Limited and is endorsed by the National Australia Day Council and the Australian Bicentennial Authority."
