Brief description
Governor Macquarie commisioned commemoration of the building of the Convict Barracks, Macquarie Street, Parramatta in 1820. These commemorative stones were made a part of a number of buildings commissioned by Governor Macquarie. Similar ones may be seen on the Windsor Courthouse and Hyde Park Barracks.
