Brief description
This copper engraving is a 20th Century copy and reverse image of the original wood engraving of Albert Henry Fullwood’s 'Parramatta'.

The view is looking north along Marsden Street, from the corner of Campbell St, St Johns is immediately behind the train overpass and to the left of St Johns, is the Uniting Church facing onto Macquarie Street. In the distance is St Patrick’s.

Fullwood was an English artist who co-foundered the Australian Painter-Etchers’ Society and became a member of the Australian Water-Colour Institute.
