Biography
The Altrusa Club of Parramatta fomed on 13 April 1975. It was a club for business and professional women. The Headquarters of the club were based in America. The Parramatta club closed on 13 April 1985 due to a lack of membership (only six members). While operating, the club held one business meeting and one dinner meeting per month. The business meetings were originally held at Legacy House, Marsden Street, Parramatta. Later, when the membership had reduced, the meetings were held in members' homes.
