Biography
Ermington and Rydalmere Municipal Council was incorporated in 1891, having split from Dundas, where it formed part of the South Ward. Two wards were created: Ermington and Rydalmere. A fire in circa 1927 destroyed all of the Council's records prior to that time.
In 1948 Ermington & Rydalmere was amalgamated with Parramatta City Council, Granville Municipal Council and Dundas Municipal Council to re-form Parramatta City Council.
